What to expect
- Consultation: assessment of teeth, gums and bite, with alternatives such as whitening, bonding or aligners discussed.
- Smile design: photos, 3D scans and a preview of the proposed shape and shade.
- Preparation: a small amount of enamel is usually removed, which is irreversible. Temporary veneers may be fitted.
- Fitting: the final veneers are checked with you and bonded. A night guard may be recommended.
- Recovery: teeth can be sensitive to hot and cold for a few days to a few weeks after veneers are fitted. Your bite and speech may feel different at first while you adjust.
